Anemia – Symptoms, Types, Causes & Prevention

Anemia can be categorized as a condition in which an individual doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells (RBCs) to carry adequate oxygen to the body’s organs. There are many forms of anemia, which could be temporary or long term. According to doctors, it could be the warning sign of severe illness or health condition. However, it can also be prevented by eating a healthy diet.

  • Fatigue and persistent weakness
  • Yellowish skin
  • Irregular heartbeats

  • A test to identify the size and shape of your red blood cells.

  • Iron tablets for anemia
  • Iron supplements
  • Multivitamin

Doctors often recommend taking a vitamin-rich diet, iron tablets as well as other nutrient-rich diet to patients.
